Culinary Herb Blends

Herb blends come pre-packaged in labeled re-sealable plastic bags for $3.50 each.

Veggies and Soups - savory, chives, tarragon,
thyme and parsley.
Mix with new potatoes, mashed potatoes, squash or any individual or mixed vegetable dish.  Also good on rice and in soups.

Seafood  - lemon verbena, basil, parsley and thyme.
Sprinkle on any fish before baking, grilling or broiling.  Add to chowders, tuna casserole, tuna sandwiches, crab cakes or dip.

Poultry - sage, rosemary and marjoram.
Add to chicken or turkey casseroles or soups.  Also good in dressing, or sprinkle on whole or parts of any fowl before baking.  Mix with white sauce and add to pasta.  Add to broth for basting turkey or chicken and for making gravy.

Mexican - cumin, cilantro, oregano and mild red peppers.
Add to any sauce to give it that spicy Mexican flare.  Good in casseroles or on meats of all kinds.  Add to sour cream for a spicy dip or topping.

Italian - sage, oregano, basil, rosemary, savory, thyme and marjoram.
Great in pestos, casseroles or your favorite Italian sauces.  Mix with butter for a topping on focaccia bread.

Grilling - rosemary, basil, thyme, savory, oregano, ground pepper and by leaf.
Rub on steaks or meats before grilling.  Add to hamburgers, roasts or beef stews or sprinkle on veggies.
